Frequently Asked Questions
A wood deck will last 10 to 15 years with routine maintenance like staining and pressure washing.
A capped composite (TimberTech) deck will last 25 to 30 years with very little maintenance.
A PVC (Azek) deck will last 50 years or more with very little maintenance.
As with a car or anything outside, just a washing once in a while to keep it clean is all that is needed. There is no staining needed on composite or PVC decks.
Absolutely! As long as it is determined that the frame meets all composite or PVC specs as far as joist spacing.
